Robert Batson: Weaving Paint (A Concept Revisited) Irving Arts Center, Texas September 10 - November 20, 2016
Our own gallery artist, Robert Batson in a 1-man exhibition! Showing large, abstract acrylic paintings. Robert Batson is inspired by textiles from the Southwest, Central America and South America and painted with a technique of drips, dribbles, quick brush strokes and lines, the paintings evoke the design, colors, patterns and textures of these indigenous weavings. Also included in the exhibit will be selected colored pencil drawings from Robert’s travels in New Mexico, Guatemala and Peru.
Presented by the Islamic Art Revival Series in partnership with Irving Arts Center, the 5th Annual Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Islamic Art; includes Morocco photography from our own Jeremy G. Landau.
Gallery Artist Olgateresa featured in Names & Numbers, 2016
We are honored to let everyone know that a painting by Olgateresa was selected to be featured in the centerfold for the new Taos Names and Numbers 2016. "Behind El Mez" was chosen for the centerfold of their current edition. "I am in the company of some wonderful Taos artists. I spent the whole afternoon with my friend and teacher Jim Cox in plein air heaven this autumn painting the sacred mountain and fields... one of the last wonderful warm days of 2015. This is an oil. Our gallery is to announce that Heather Ross' piece “Anamnesis” has been chosen by juror S. Gayle Stevens for the 'Witching Hour: Imagery from Darkness' exhibition at Gallery 136 1/2 at PhotoSynthesis, Manchester, CT. The exhibition runs October 15—November 12, 2016, Opening Reception: on Saturday, October 15, from 5-7pm.

Our gallery is a collaboration of regional artists in the disciplines of painting, watercolor, photography, sculpture, jewelry & fiber arts; among others. The gallery was originally founded as the Enchanted Dreams Foundation Art and Antique Emporium to benefit children with autism. Owner, Lois Fernandez transformed the gallery into the Taos Artist Cooperative in March of 2009 which became the Taos Artist Collective at it's present location.
